Pam Noles Presents ! Death 40-Feet Tall !

Support.  Genius.

Pam Noles can do anything well.  Seriously.  I met her when she was a cop beat in Lakeland and not only did she know everyone in town, she knew what they were doing.  Not that she told me (be not afraid, Lakeland).  She saved it for her reporting.    She’s published comics, short stories, and is working on a novel that reaches into our mythic depths.  I’m not sure that there is anything about Los Angeles that she doesn’t know–particularly about the arts scene.

Pam began her improv career at Second City.  As you probably know, Second City is legendary.  She is now with iO West.

She wrote the live stage play  ! Death 40-Feet Tall ! and it premiered at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2010.

Now she’s working on producing a vidio of the show.  She describes it below.  She is raising production funds via Kickstarter, and plans the make the full show available for download or as a dvd so that people who do not live in LA can see it.

Here’s Pam:

! Death 40-Feet Tall ! is a one-hour live storytelling show about two best friends, giant robots and the quest to become your own Prime. It’s a storytelling show, not a showcase, about one hour long and family friendly!

Please visit the project page on Kickstarter for full details: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/270114175/roll-out-death-40-feet-tall

Pam Noles is a former cop reporter and graduate of the Clarion Writer’s Workshop. She lives and writes in Los Angeles.

And here’s me again:  Go there!  Now!  http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/270114175/roll-out-death-40-feet-tall  The project is fascinating.  She has 23 backers so far, and another month or so to get full funding.  Contribute $5 or more and you will be able to follow the progress of the project–which, knowing Pam, is sure to be sparkatiously entertaining in and of itself.

her blog is http://andweshallmarch.typepad.com/  Seriously entertaining stuff.

When she first did this show, she got a lot of attention in LA, and she’ll be getting a lot more.

I was a friend of hers in high school and we spoke when she was a reporter in Sebring, Fl. I am surprised to learn that she was in Second City. She was always a lot of fun to be around and I knew she wanted to make it in LA. thanks for your article.
